Kim Cox was born and raised in Edinburgh, IN. She attended and graduated from Indiana Business College with a degree in Professional Accounting. She later graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
During her career, Kim has worked in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. She started her career as an office manager for a construction company in Columbus, IN. She switched to the non-profit world as an accounting manager for IUE-CWA Pension Fund in Bloomington, IN. She continued to advance her career as a Finance Director for Girl’s Inc of Monroe County. She is now the Vice President of Finance at TeenWorks. TeenWorks is a non-profit organization that empowers teens to achieve excellence in community, college and career.
Kim is also an active community member serving as the Parent Teacher Organization President for her local Elementary School. She has volunteered as a Court Appointed Child Advocate and other community organizations. Kim resides in Brazil, IN with her husband Rob, two daughters Destiny and Abigail and three fur babies Cinnamon, Onyx and Jack.
Kim is a six-year breast cancer survivor and has been featured by the Vera Bradly Foundation Magazine for her strength during and after recovery.
